How to check a Verpips badge
A “Verified by Verpips” badge always links to verpips.com, and the channel’s page shows the same numbers as the badge. If they don’t match, it’s fake. It takes a minute to check.
Three checks
- Step 1
Click the badge
It has to take you to the channel’s page on verpips.com/en/channel/… Check the address bar: a look-alike domain doesn’t count.
- Step 2
Make sure the page says “Verified”
Only verified channels have a badge. If the page says anything else, or doesn’t exist, the badge isn’t ours.
- Step 3
Compare the numbers
The badge shows three: trades measured, R per trade and the measurement date. The channel’s page shows the same ones. If they don’t match, it’s fake.
How the badge works
- It’s not for sale: no channel can pay for it or ask for it. It’s earned with measured results, under the same conditions for everyone.
- We draw it: the image is served from verpips.com and redrawn every hour from the channel’s page. An image saved and re-uploaded to another site no longer updates.
- It can be lost: if the channel stops meeting the conditions, its badge switches to “This channel no longer has the badge · see it on verpips.com.”
The conditions to earn it are on For channel owners.
